Privacy Policy

Bains Nutrition ("I", "me") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information this website and my services collect, why, and how it is protected. I follow British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA). Questions can go to andy@bainsnutrition.com.

What I collect

• Messages you send by email, text, or WhatsApp: your name, contact details, and what you write.
• Booking details when you schedule a session: your name, contact details, chosen time, and any answers you give on the booking form.
• Purchase details when you buy a product or pay for a session: your name, email, and billing information. Card details are handled by Stripe and never reach me.
• Session information you share with me as a client, such as health history and goals. This is collected during sessions, not through this website.

This website does not use advertising trackers or sell your information. To see how many people visit and which pages they read, I use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which doesn't use cookies or identify you.

How I use it

Only to provide and manage my services: answering questions, scheduling, processing payments, delivering products you buy, and supporting you as a client. I'll only email you about anything else, such as a newsletter, if you sign up for it.

Service providers

I use a small number of trusted providers to run this website and my practice. Each handles only the information needed for its job:

• Cal.com (appointment booking)
• Stripe (payments)
• Google Workspace (email)
• Cloudflare (website hosting and visit statistics)
• Trust.Reviews (displays client reviews on this site)
• Kit (newsletter, only if you subscribe)

Some of these providers may store information outside Canada, where it may be subject to the laws of that country.

How it's protected and kept

Client records are confidential and only I, Andy Bains, have access to them. I keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, then delete it securely.

Your choices

You can ask to see the personal information I hold about you, correct it, or have your file deleted. Email andy@bainsnutrition.com and I'll respond within 30 days.

Changes

If this policy changes, I'll update the date at the top of this page.
